Just had an arterial blood gas test completed in suite 200. He called us back because he thought the oxygen level was very low. He brought my wife back into the testing room where I witnessed him taking off her bandage from the first blood draw without gloves on. Also there was large local swelling which appeared to be a “blown artery”. He withdrew blood again without gloves and put his thumb over the puncture location.
He went to get the test rerun and all we got after twenty minutes was that he gave the information to my wife’s doctor and he should call us.
He also told us just before the second test that the result of the first test was border line of sending us to the ER.
This created great anxiety for us with no answers. This did not exhibit a professional medical environment.

Rude and dismissive staff (nurse). Subpar services.

The only good thing about this place is nothing. There are one too many OSHA violations from open box of used needles to the hospital staff having open conversations about patients that come in as soon as they walk away it’s very disturbing and as well as the racism. Never have I been to a hospital were the staff had no soft skills at all, I guess looks matter more than skills.

OK I have a chronic condition where my potassium and sodium drop I mean overnight it can drop 14 points to critical. in 2014 Ogden regional hospital sent me home with C- Difícil we’re done constipation I was admitted to McKay Dee hours later was sepsis.

I have a complex medical history due to this mistake now I suffer from Gastro paresis and chronic constipation I’ve expressed my fear of my caregiver abusing me and they will not help me at all. yes I know they get tired of seeing me but when you’re so dehydrated you cannot have a bowel movement you need to be seen.

On my last visit there the doctor was so rude I had to laugh because this is common practice at this facility.

Staff is extremely unsensitive to moving patients around and to patients personal needs and requests concerning soreness caused by movement most the time they act as a though they’re in a hurry

I'm sick of doctors that are afraid to do anything. I was brought in by ambulance because I threw up blood and passed out. Im a disabled veteran with lots of health issues they dont know why i have the bleeding episodes or passing out episodes. Wife trys to explain this but pretty much ignored. Ive been dealing with this for 20yrs. The first Dr did give me meds and numerous tests. The nurses are amazing. After a few hours nobody came to check on me, my pain spiked again. No help but in fact when he comes in he says test look normal for most part and don't know why I had the episode. Duh, I already knew they wouldn't find anything. They refused to help bring my pain level down anymore because it would sedate me me. Gee, I'm sorry I need to use your bed a little longer, yet the druggy down the hall gets to sleep in the hospital bed all night. Yet the disabled vet gets the shaft. I wasn't even offered a wheel chair to help me to my wife's car. She had to help carry and steady me down the hall. I almost fell again as I was leaving. So ogden regional you can kiss my but for the lack of care, respect, and complete disregard. My pain clinic Dr, family dr, specialists all tell me to go to the ER if I'm really bad. But nobody wants to help me. God forbid I take a bed for a bit, need pain meds ,and a little understanding because my situation is unique. I'll so enjoy paying my copay as a double insured person. You are a joke of a hospital.

Difficult to get information and heaven forbid that a loved one might die between the hours of 5-6:30 when they are not allowed to have any loved ones with them. Make sure you bring your own food as well since their cafeteria closes at 4 and there are not any decent places to get food for miles. The hospital has contributed greatly to making a difficult situation ten times worse.

For dehydration and pregnancy problems, they took longer then I wished to address my questions. When my fuild bag was empty, it sat there and the tube in my arm for another 1 hour and half before taking it out. I am not a medical professional, nor do I have an experience or knowledge regarding this stuff. I just wished they would have communicated more.

You can tell them a hundred times that morphine doesn't work, and they'll use it anyway....it won't work, and instead of addressing your surgical pain, they'll just insist you must have a drug tolerance...or be a druggie...even though you've never been either. Instead of fixing the pain, they treat you like you're a liar. YOU SAY MORPHINE NEVER WORKS FOR ME, THEY GIVE IT TO YOU ANYWAY, THEY CHARGE YOU FOR IT, AND IT ALL FALLS ON THE SICKLY PATIENT....EVEN WHEN YOU TELL THEM THIS HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TIME..... they REFUSE TO LISTEN TO THEIR OWN PATIENTS. IT IS HORRIBLE HERE. Pick any other hospital.
