Horrible, I hate this hospital, plus you could lose a limb and all wait six hours to be seen, if you have to go to the hospital, drive to Vernon

Nurses who wear scrubs ( Justin Bieber style) half way to floor. I don’t care to look at a nurses’s dirty underwear. No professionalism. Discussing patient information loudly for anyone to hear. This violates the HIPPA laws. No one is manning the ship. If you don’t agree with this shocking third world style of hospital care. The manager will threaten to have the security throw you out of a public hospital. Or threatened to have Kelowna RCMP lay harassment charges. Who is being harrassed the patient who objects to this unprofessional behavior. If your shoved in hallway and can’t advocate for yourself no food or water is given. No room to put a tray. If your lucky to be with it to ask for your basic needs to be met the nurses walk by begging patients like they don’t exist ignoring their pleas. If you have family with you they are expected to go buy food or water get your family member up to BR while the nurses gossip with their manager. Shocking, disgusting. Where is the Interior Health In their new comfortable building out of sight out of mind trying to hire more suits whilst dreaming up ways to cut more funds to patient care.

dirty, uninterested nurses, welcome to government healthcare and greedy unions… we patients last anyone is interested in… over jammed emergency room… patients in beds line the halways

Orthopedic patients undergoing extremely painful procedures are stuffed into the old mat wing in spaces that hardly accommodate a walker,no chairs, rooms of 4, no privacy, an antiquated bathroom with aids that don’t work and several times had to complain about the urine all over the floor. Few nurses that actually behaved in a professional manner. I saw eye brows raised, heard impatient remarks, I had my call button ignored and found at best it averages 8-10 minutes for a response. I checked no dairy & gluten free menu option. The first morning cereal and toast and in the afternoon lasagna smothered in cheese. Guess that form was for show. But there don’t seem to be restrictions on visiting hours, my neighbor received visitors at 12:30 last night. I’m here because of the surgeon who did a great job. This hospital needs someone to walk through with a deficiency list for equipment and to observe the nurses.
