Have been a patient and visitor many, many times. Wonderful, friendly staff -- happy too and I love seeing happy people when they're working. My surgeons have also been terrific. Soldiers is an excellent small town facility.

I had a knee replacement and the staff were wonderful. They are so short staffed but always treated me like they had time for me. Never short with me or rude. Such a pleasant experience. Too bad all hospitals were not like this

I had the unfortunate event of dealing with Dr. Aaron Barnett in Emerge this past Sunday evening.
I was having heavy bleeding and am 10 1/2 weeks pregnant. His response to me was ‘we don’t do ultrasounds after 8pm’ when it was only 7pm, and then continuing on with ‘ I don’t know what you expect from me. It’s a Sunday night.’
His callous comments left me with zero answers if my baby or I were okay. He followed up with the fact that the bloodwork they do at their hospital doesn’t correspond with the bloodwork HCG levels from an alternative hospital so the numbers were pretty much pointless. I was disgusted with this doctors bedside manner and lack of support when I was clearly struggling mentally with everything going on. I’ve had a previous miscarriage and a daughter who was born prematurely due to a 10cm bloodclot I had during the entire duration of the pregnancy. I left the hospital with zero help or answers and am on day 3 waiting for a ‘semi-urgent’ ultrasound. This lack of care is disgusting!

Terrible!!! Wait times are the worst I ever seen at any hospital!!

People who care. Like all healthcare settings they are facing unreal pressures with staffing. These people care. Nurses advocate for their patients when doctors seem distracted.

I have visited Soldiers outpatient clinic twice in the past 2 yrs. most recent for day surgery on my foot. Every employee, no matter what dept., was so friendly & helpful. Only bad experience was having stitches removed on Aug. 28 . 2023.
Dr . was amazing, however the employee in charge of removing stitches walked around in a black hoodie, no I.D. visible, long curly hair everywhere, not capped, never once identified herself, came & took stitches out, never spoke, obviously not a happy camper. She should not be working in that dept. if she cannot reflect the positive environment that all the other employees display. She obviously needs to go through employee training again & pass the cordial and professional training part. All other employees display this so much. It’s so wonderful to see staff displaying their happiness with the job the do. I cannot express enough my gratitude to every person we met previously before yesterday
I am so happy with the care that we get at Soldiers.
