My husband has been admitted to this hospital x3 in the last few weeks and the care is absolutely appalling. The whole hospital is absolutely filthy. I don't think the beds are ever cleaned or the over tables. You just about have to stay 24/7 to make sure care is provided from nursing staff.

My husband was in Palmerston Hospital for 7 days. The service was fantastic. The nurses and doctors were so friendly and helpful. We are very thankful for them and will come back again if needed.

Husband taken by ambulance was put into waiting room 2 hrs before trialed another 7 hrs to see a doctor
Toilets in waiting area were not serviced all that time had to tell staff they needed servicing floors covered in urine disgusting smell
This is not the first bad experience
Would have to be the worst hospital we have been too

I sat sobbing in A&E for over 5hrs with a,wrist broken in 2 places. Once plastered I left with no prescription for pain. My cast was way too tight and too long, it’s like my hand, was in a crusher for 6,whole weeks, I cldnt stand the pain any longer and sawed 2inches off the end myself to relief the pressure. Now cast is removed I have nerve damage and a very swollen unusable hand, requiring on going physio.

Went A&E .It appears to many people that should
be at the doctors instead of a&e .Staff are all very nice overworked and and I guess they have had enough of dealing with people that should be at the Gp not A&E
