The care team (Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, and OT) for Amp program were amazing. They demonstrated so much care and encouragement. Could not have asked for better.

Mom suffered from bone cancer and dementia. The nurses that cared for mom in palliative care (on the fourth floor) were amazing and lovingly took care of mom. They made sure she was in no pain. They spent time with mom and gently cared for her. Thank you! Thank you so very much for all you do and did for mom ( Christine Kreutzer) from her family we are grateful.

My husband suffered an anoxic brain injury over 5 years ago. I have been his only caregiver in that time. It was our hope that we could better see what he was capable of doing/learning without relying entirely on me.
He is abusive, negative and unwilling to co operate.
He was denied therapy because he is only abusive to his own family. This is a direct quote. Seriously???
I am now at the end of my rope. All avenues have been exhausted and I am very disappointed with the response.

Terrible rehab for spinal cord injury. Care team sets your discharge date on the day you arrive for inpatient rehab. Discharge you no matter what you can do for yourself. Give you very little time to learn how to use a wheelchair. Don’t teach you how to get up into your chair if you fall. Don’t teach you how to bring your chair back up if you tip back while in your chair. I left there without any wheelchair skills. They do not care about your well being as a wheelchair user out in the community. I won’t bother going to see the spinal cord injury doctor there for follow ups. What’s the point? They didn’t care to teach me or ensure I knew how to be independent in all wheelchair situations. What a joke.

Shocked at the lack of support for my mom who had an urinary track infection but wasn’t diagnosed in time because Parkwood Hosp. wouldn’t call in a doctor. She died a few days later. Awful Place

Our sincere thanks to Dr. Martyniak, Lindsay, and the incredible team of Therapists and Nurses in A-North, 4th floor at Parkwood! Your expertise and tender loving care towards my mother after her stroke has been appreciated beyond words. You are all amazing!
