Husband was admitted to the Cancer ward a few months ago. Was so disappointed with the level of care. After he was transferred from the ER to the ward, no one came to look after him and the bag of saline was still next to his pillow after 2 hours. The nurses who were supposedly to be looking after him are not very good. Overall experience is very bad for a private hospital.

I want to thank the nursing staff on 5E for their wonderful care during my admittance in June 2023. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The food however was a different story. I cannot believe that a hospital would find food lacking that much nutrition to be acceptable to feed to recovering people. Soggy rubbery toasted sandwich delivered in a cloche dripping with water. Roast lamb consisting of one piece of fat & grizzle the other charred black, dry and unable to cut through with a knife. Not good when a patient has to have their visitor bring food into a hospital because the food served there is inedible.

I couldn't be more thankful for every single person who assisted me when I went through the A and E department on Saturday 10/06/23. I waited 3 min before I was seen by a nurse and then 2min from there I was taken straight through and put in a comfortable bed with a tv and everything I needed right beside me! My partner was able to park right out the front and walked straight through the department to me. Nurses were with me always and Dr B. Walton would check on me very regularly! Bloods and samples were all done within the 10min I walked through the door. I will never go back to any other hospital ever again, Pindara is definitely the only one I will go to. 10000X thankful for all their services. Kindest regards, Eilish

Visiting my son in Pindara and got asked to leave by the head nurse. She knows the value to a patient of having loved ones around when in hospital. Yet she asked us to leave after a phone call, yes a PHONE call from his other parent saying that HE doesn't want me to visit my son. Nurse said "Unless you can come back with some evidence in writing that you can visit your son you can't come back".

Terrible place with no emphasis at all on patient care. The nurses are scarce and difficult to locate. During my multiple day visit for major surgery not one even so much as poured me a glass of water.. My physio left because I was vomiting and didn’t return so all I had was a pamphlet on how important the physio was. I was unable to eat much of the food which I remember being good quality during my previous visits.
I would like to shout out to Marie, the lady cleaning my room, who was very kind and asked how I was. Thank you.

Had my father have to spend an admission, with terminal cancer and 8 weeks to live, sharing a room with another terminal patient both unable to sleep at all obviously which is essential for patients so ill, all that money for private health all your life to have to share a room with. that little left in your life, nothing short of disgraceful, the place should hang their heads in shame.

low quality Dr Holland – actually also a public hospital doctor without real skill.

Very dissatisfied with the level of care I received as a paying patient!!! Thousands of dollars spent to be treated by some not all nurses dreadfully

Incredible and I’m fussy & expect the best ! The nurses were so friendly it’s so beautiful and nature was amazing I was so violently ill I thought I was going to die had surgery at from start to finish they were perfect and im born & bred on the Gold Coast from a well known family. And listed with I don’t do well with bad service I get quite annoyed these women that looks after me and nurses and even the doctor that came out absolutely superb. Feeling lucky have missed getting old skool service & even night staff super stars. Thank you universe for these incredible women. M. Burrows.
