What a kind and caring place. After my experience at Belleville General Hospital, which was abusive, I unfortunately found myself in a situation that I needed to return to hospital. I required stitches in a messy gash on my arm. Two ambulances came in at that time. A staff member came in and told those who had been triaged, that once the ambulance patients get taken care of, we will see you. She apologized for the inconvenience and the wait time. You could tell they were busy, but it never changed their attitudes on how they treated other patients. Thank you Picton Memorial Hospital. You are there for the right reasons. Everyone was willing to help or get someone to help. It starts with the management of that hospital, not the big CEO over Quinte Health Services. Don't loose your self respect and become clones of BGH. Kudos to all for your caring heats!

The staff are outstanding and I know that I am always well taken care of. I will not go to any other Emergency service. I drive an extra 30 minutes to go to this hospital when I could walk across the road to one. I know that I am never more than 2 hours. I recommend this facility to everyone.

I have to take my kids and myself to this hospital several times in the last 4 years and every time I have gone in there the doctors on staff were knowledgeable and kind
They took care of my children and reassured me each time
They respect my anxiety and PTSD
They make sure the cover all the bases before you leave with blood work X-rays or whatever else is needed to find out whatever is causing the problem
This is by far the best ER best hospital I’ve had my children in and I know they well be taken care of the moment I walk in the those doors
Not to mention the longest time I’ve ever had to sit there was two hours due to an accident on the road way

Excellent small community hospital; compassionate and caring staff, great ER triage and (mostly) excellent doctors covering the ER.
