I have many friends who have utilized Providence and they all did pretty well. No complaints! The care that I recieved was very good.

The nurses are the worse anywhere! When my mom had extensive neck surgery the nurses treated us horribly, even though a family member stayed with her constantly. They wouldn’t come when we said she needed to go to the bathroom, so she wet the bed. Then they finally came and were angry that it happened. They were heartless and not at all helpful. My family will never go to providence in Southfield ever again!

best hospital in the area. Staff is friendly and professional. I had life threatening surgery, and the nurses were with me the entire time

While I was in there,I didn’t think I was gonna make it. It happened to me more than once too! When I had my big operation,I didn’t get my pain meds when I neede them. Right after that surgery the nurse working the shift that night wouldn’t give me any pain medication. To this day I still wake up from nightmares because of that.

There is just something good about the culture at Providence. The staff are so caring and friendly and my family always feels that they care about us. We wont ever switch hospitals.
