I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the staff in the QE2 emergency department. While helping to renovate my sister’s house for my parents to move into I received an injury that required the assistance of the ED staff. Right from triage the nurses and attending staff were amazing. They were patient, caring and understanding.

When I was assessed the gentleman I saw was incredibly helpful and professional and checked up on me when I went back in the ED wait room.

Then when I was taken through to have the wound sewn up, I was seen by an intern (Jerry) who did a great job helping to fix the injury and had incredible needle and sewing technique!

I can’t give intern Jerry, his supervisor and the entire ED crew enough praise.

As a volunteer Rural Firefighter I hope that if thing’s ever go wrong that the QE2 ED staff are dispatched to assist.

Unless one is dying, the doctors don’t care. Don’t communicate with family members especially Enacted EPOA. Mum has wasted 4 weeks there to decline further due to poor management from the medical team. Called Ryan’s Rule and spoke to different doctor who agreed this hospital has failed mum.

The QE2, Hospital, the Staff, and my Specialist Team gave me my life back. After various joint replacements, I am finally free of pain and am able to move with ease. Thank you.

After care from diabetic educators at this hospital are the worst my son got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and the educators never return his calls he needs help as he doesn't know what he can cant do and needs answers to questions. His tried calling for 2 weeks and nothing back . It's disappointing and discussing how they put someone on insulin and don't follow up on a plan . My son has had to sort all of his care himself as if just being told you have type 1 diabetes isn't enough . My advice dont use these educators as they don't do their job they are paid for .

Pathetic. I have posted a review on Google to show the lack of care displayed by medical staff for day surgery.

This is where you come to have your final wishes denied. My father want to die listening to his favourite music. Instead, we got 80 decibels of constant jackhammering in the room...

I arrived with a possible broken pinky toe at 11am for an X-ray. Was offered a pain killer which was not needed at that time. Was given an ice pack though. 40 minutes later I asked for a pain killer. I finally received the pain killer 2.5 hours later when I was taken for X-rays. That's 2 hours of sitting in absolute pain! 2 hours to get a simple X-ray!!! Then another 2.5 hours to receive results!! So in all I was in hospital for 8 hours to get an X-ray, receive results and have something done about it!! But!!!! If it hasn't been for the caring nature of Dr Felicia C who looked after me like I was her family I think this review wouldn't have been so nice. Dr Felicia deserves a payrise!! 😁
