An ambulance took me to QEII as I was bleeding profusely from a vein in my ankle. The EMS person was extra good, very attentive and put a very good pressure bandage on it, which stopped the bleeding but I had lost a lot of blood. They put me on priority for emergency doctor to look at it but was put in a waiting room and not even a nurse checked on me or offered me a drink, a nurse had told the ambulance person not to give me water or food. That was 4 PM and at 6:30 I asked how long it would be she said I was next but then I saw another patient taken in before me and when I asked the other nurse she was very rude and said I should not be watching and they would get me in as soon as a room was available. Doctor went for a break at about 6:30 pm and at 7:30 they but me in a room on a gerny, flat, never offered me a sheet or a pillow and just left me there the nurse was in and out restocking the supplies never saying a word and at 8pm I asked when the doctor would be back and she rudely told me she did not know and was not allowed to call him. Finally at 8:30 pm he came in, no introduction, looked at my ankle, put 3 stitches in it said I could take them out myself but not when, just left and nurse said I could go. When I left both waiting rooms were full and people were waiting in the hall. I know they are busy people, but a little comppasion and friendliness would go a long way. Very unorganized and a lot of standing around, no patient care at all.

Went to the emergency department at 9:45pm on a Saturday and waited for a room until 1:30 am Sunday morning. Waited on a doctor to see me until 2:40 a and once the doctor came in my room, he did not once touch me as far as to examine me or assess my problem. Asked me if I had a family doctor I said yes he said go see him for and examation. Drew a picture and uses a hospital sink to try to explain what could be one of many issues that was happening to me. Honestly it was a joke of a visit. Something is serious wrong with the lack of care and compassion from some doctors nowadays. Don’t get me wrong the doctor I seen was friendly enough but did 1000% of nothing to help me out. Pretty much told me I could care for my issue alone. Told him I’m not a doctor how would I know what to do or even how to do it. So he spent about 7 mins with me in total and did nothing. Sad sad.

This has been my worst experience. I'm sitting in the hospital with an asthma attack, my chest is hurting and sore can hardly breathe and the nurse is going to say there's no urgency so I just have to wait until my name is called because it is not an emergency as my vitals are good. My blood pressure is high because I'm having breathing issues and in pain. And you are going to tell me I'm ok because your machine says my vitals are good. I can't breathe at all and people who have less symptoms and are ok are being seen.

There a doctor there.. Dark as phuuck. Hard to miss really. All the lights dim when he passes by like some sorta black hole of bad ideas and hate for whowhitey. So a few of the staff there have said this doctor likes to do shite that hurts patients. Little alarming and lets not forget about the doctor that was sexually assaulting patients while passed out from some Bill Cosby magic juices. AHS says anyone injured by him needs to litigate within 2 years. Some Stunned Karen from AHS calls to give me legal advices and shes no lawyer. It's all she was worried about. I told her to phuck off and she calls back 2 more times. So I cant sue. Well you know what, I dont need to ffs. If this Dr is really doing this shit to ppl on purpose then the Crown Soldiers will March in there and arrest him. Hes breaking his oath and laws !! This AHS legal non expert has never heard of civil suits either. Imagine that. So now we have 2 male patients that have been injured purposefully and 2 nurses that have agreed to giving statements about the doctors. Allegedly. If you value your health stay away from this place.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I would have to be on my death bed before I would ever attend this hospital again. The only think they have separating potentially covid positive patients is a pathetic little tarp... I waited there for a total of 9 hours... The nurses were more concerned about talking and belittling patients than actually doing anything to help anyone. They literally stand around and talk about patients, personal lives, etc using extremely inappropriate language while the entire room of people can very clearly hear them. Ive never witnessed such complete and total lack of professionalism. The doctor that I saw was extremely quick to brush off my concerns, ive had an extremely swollen painful foot for 5 days all he did was look at it then order an XRAY although I told him I have not suffered any trauma to my foot. I go get that done and wait another hour for him to review it, He finally does and he says "well there is no fracture so we dont know whats causing this, ITS A MYSTERY" Proceeded to tell me that I must have hurt it and just not recall doing so, Then he told me to come back in a few days if nothings changed so they can re-examine me... He essentially refused to investigate any further despite my discomfort and concern. I will never go back to this "hospital" again. Absolutely sickened by the entire experience. Save your time and potentially your life and go literally anywhere else.

If you have any symptoms of covid and no matter how sick you are don't bother going to the ER. I sat in there fot 6.5 hours and didn't get in. They put everyone with symptoms of covid on one side of the waiting room and everyone else on the other side. No one on my side went in to get looked at. People just kept piling up. People on the other side kept going in. I really don't think the doctor wanted to see any of us. Sitting there for 6.5 hours being so sick was so uncomfortable. Alberta health care is pathetic. They can't even run this hospital. Things are only going to worst when the ever open the new hospital.
