Terrible hospital. My mom was admitted there because she got heart attack. The nurse forgot to put up the arms of the bed. My mother fell from the bed at night while getting up. The staff there didn’t show any concern whatsoever, wasn’t apologetic at all. Had a very bad experience. Don’t go to this hospital unless you have no choice.

Best, Best, Best, Adore this hospital! Best in Ottawa. And General too. Be so proud grate nurses and dr.s You don’t have it easy with some GP such as Dr. Jim Gill, and dr. Hashimoto not seeing pts and tell them to go to emerg.
Very sick Drs. Like not seeing pts and collecting from Ontario Hospital Insurance OHIP. Afraid to get covid.
Very great drs at one time about 20 years ago. Reported to the college. Don’t even appreciate their devoted long term patients. Very sad,

Excellent staff. Doesn’t feel like a hospital. Comfortable friendly. Everyone seems to love their job. Top doctors.

During my recent visit to Emerg at the QCH I was impressed with all the medical staff who treated me, with the exception of one nurse who was THE most rude, uncaring, medical worker I have ever encountered. I have ALWAYS respected nurses’ care, compassion, and ability to handle whatever they are dealt with, but this one should maybe get a job pulling up weeds. God help the weeds! If it weren’t for her attitude and display of ” All these patients give me a pain in the butt, but good, my shift is over”, I would have rated the services received as a 4 instead of a 1. I hope the Management of the Emerg Department recognize who I am speaking about and maybe find out why she thinks rudeness is the way to go. I hate to think of how many people she offends while she was on duty. So sad!!!!!!! I must stress that the rest of the medical staff were very professional and showed the care you hope you’d receive while there.

I was sent to the Queensway with a referral for an xray, as the community xray labs are closed sue to Covid 19. After a run around, the xray department turned me away saying they don’t recognize chiropractor requisitions, and or nurse practitioners. They suggested I go through the emergency department to get a “doctor” to sign off on this.
