Arrived at 2:30 am with a sincerely infected dog bite on arm with two people in waiting room ahead of us still not even seen triage, finally at 4:45 we get to see triage and register with a miserable women whom wouldn't even look at you when she demanded your information. A nurse came to waiting room at 6:30am and called out 4names of people that left already due to waiting too long and she laughed then went back to desk grabbed her mug and went on break. It is now 8:30 am and still not called back to see a doctor if there even is any doctors working here?! The staff are rude arrogant and with vulgar language if you eve attempt to ask how much longer your wait would be. If I could give 0 I would! Absolutely the worst hospital in Ontario staff are a disgrace! supposed to be dedicated to the care and health of the patient instead just creates mental and emotional distress.

The communication in this hospital is terrible. One department does not know what is happening in the next department. Ask a question and inevitably they don’t have a clue. If you have a choice, go somewhere else,

Halls are crowded and a mess. It’s obvious that this hospital is clearly understaffed so much for the premier and the federal government we’ve been sitting here for over 8 hours waiting to be seen for concussion

If you have a loved one who needs Palliative care, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. Dr. Seaton stated that antibiotics was a waste of resources. Danielle, palliative nurse is rude and treats the Patients and family members with complete lack of compassion and should not be working with Palliative patients. Michelle, ward clerk in Geriatrics pushes the narrative that everyday The Ross Memorial is still in a Pandemic. Karen the infectious Disease manager threatened to call police to remove us from the hospital lobby and accused us of âloiteringâ in the Hospital. We had just left Emerg where Dr Martin advised our Mother had hours to maybe a few days to live. We were quietly sitting, and consoling one another on the bench in the lobby beside the gift shop only hours after we found out our family member was being moved over to Palliative, and we are told to go wait outside in the cold.
The Palliative Doctors are not in the same page, they each have a different prognosis from week to week and we have been on a roller coaster since leaving Emerg at the beginning of March.

The staff are a waste of oxygen. I have had better service from a pile of dogsh*t. I cannot understand how the hospital stays afloat paying staff to ignore their duties and treat their bosses (Ohip is tax money making taxpayers their bosses) with such disdain. Worst hospital I’ve ever been to. Pls start hiring competent staff instead of the useless tools you currently have employed from top management down.

Please remember when people have emergencies the last thing they need is nastiness, kindness helps a lot. If I’m ever to use this hospital I try everything I can not to have to come to the hospital so when I come it’s a necessary thing. Please remember we’re humans and we have emotions. It’s bad enough to need emergency or any service at ross so please be kind. I literally get panic attacks and migraines at the thought of being at ross. Be gentle please and be professional. Over the years I’ve witnessed a lot of unprofessional actions and hopefully this will change. Thankyou
