I received had surgery and treatment for cancer at RVH. From the fist visit to the last 5 years later I marvelled at the care , expertise and empathy of all the health care and service personnel. I had not one concern or complaint in the 5 years. I would rate the hospital as excellent.

I have been to this hospital an number of times before covid. I would not recommend the hospital to my relatives or my worst enemy.
My wife was in the hospital in May of2021an was in for 6 days. The doctor who was on he floor as her doctor never once talked to her because when he went in to see her early in the morning she was sleeping and he never bothered to wake her to see how is was feeling. I would rather drive to OSMH GBGH IN Midland or even South Lake in Newmarket. Also this is the only hospital in Barrie but if they built a new one it would be run the same way

I was offended by a comment the young male who received me said. It was uncalled for. This frontline young man shouldn’t be allowed to serve the public. June 27 Any person going through ER doors has distress. He had no compassion and this all from me telling him what meds I was on. The rest of my experience was satisfactory.

they are not the cleanness when there is a very nasty Virus going around, Goose Poop all around the out side, Building washrooms mildew around the taps, n faucets. gum stuck too the tables. The 3rd floor was very clean. Down stairs 1st floor unbelievable not the cleanest at all.
