I was a phlebotomist at Santa Rosa Medical Center for a couple of years before becoming critically ill and having to take a leave from work. I’ve literally been treated like garbage by the HR department as well as phlebotomy supervisor. I bent over backwards for this place only to be treated horribly while being sick and not able to work. Any other hospital I’ve ever worked at I’ve never seen any employee get treated the way that this place has treated me. Before getting sick I was accused of stealing time, etc when I have EVERY proof of all of the miles I walked on my phone as well as great reviews from patients and other staff members. The phlebotomy supervisor is the one who steals time and is also a preachers wife who pretends to do no wrong while throwing stones at others and then hiding her hands. Just be very careful if you ever work for this place and watch out for people like this! The actual lab director named Sam has always seemed to treat people at least fair and she actually does her job and goes above and beyond to get it done! After being treated so poorly and lied on k really believe that this had a part in triggering my illness! It’s called workplace bullying!!

I had a horrible experience at the er. Came in an ambulance chocking with a partial airway obstruction. Was having such a panic attack I was shaking and in hives. Was promised Ativan to calm my nerves. Never received it. Dr. Robby is the RUDEST woman I have ever met. She showed no concern and was outright hateful to my aunt to asking her to help me after I date they’re barely able to breathe for an hour. She was also very rude to me mother and myself. Extremely racist as well. She should have her license revoked if she treats all her patients this way.

I was admitted for hypertensive urgency and had a miserable time in the ED but the staff (Courtney specifically) were wonderful & very attentive. CCU and the 4th floor cardiac floor were great. I was upset after staying an extra night for a 24hr urine to rule out a pheochromocytoma (a rare adrenal tumor that causes uncontrollable hypertension) that it was not “collected properly and therefore delayed diagnosis for 3 months until I was hospitalized again and a new 24hr urine was collected and indeed positive for metanephrines.
