If you are a victim of SA be very careful of using CSART and CCASA (both related) or AHS’s victim services. If you choose to use these services document everything said, done and the names and positions of everyone involved. Ensure that your records are privacy protected and know who is acessing them and why. This IS your right. Period. – sincerely a survivor.

Worst hospital ever! My daughter has been going here by ambulance for the last four more years and they will not do any tests on her to see why she has chronic Stomach pains and a blockage and cannot use the bathroom for a week or more. That’s been going on forever and they keep telling her there’s nothing wrong with her. They tell her She’s a drug addict that she just wants to be in there and get pain pills ( which I said I can buy them off the street if she really want to get rid of the pain) we both don’t want pain pills to cover up the problem. We need to have ultrasound or MRI Done to see what the problem is in her stomach. Every time the ambulance takes her there they have us sitting and waiting last time we waited seven hours and then we left, another time it was 11 hours so we left. Hot showers are the only thing that helps her at the moment and they lock the bathroom doors. So I have filed a complaint against the hospital and a few other ones. And so it begins Everyone seems to think she has a twist bowel, or digestive track or ulcers, but the nurses and doctors at this hospital will not check for any of that.

Should make patients in pain comfortable if you make them wait 3 to 9 hours to see a doctor. I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere except Alberta.
Should be ashamed.

I have been here for one emergency. It ended up being a kidney stone. I was seen really quickly and they performed all necessary tests on site and that day.
