Appointment for 7am I arrived 30 minutes earlier , was the second person in waiting room and now 9 people have been called before me and I am still waiting after 95 minutes

Has really improved its game. Best food and system in Perth. Nursing staff, orderlies and other staff extremely friendly and kind. There should be a smoking area though – people still smoke and a designated area would be safer for patients and the hospital.

Been here twice, especially since they have a very accessible ED where you do not wait for hours and are immediately seen by a senior doctor. Well worth the 200 $ you pay for that. After that admission all smooth, everything according to plan and nurses friendly, well taken care of.

I would certainly choose St John of God Murdoch’s Emergency Department over Fiona Stanley’s every time, having experienced both. My several admissions to St John’s Murdoch have all been most satisfactory. I would, however, be careful with my choice of doctor.

Disgusting, atrocious treatment from hospital staff towards our family from the Thomas Furlong nursing team and Senior Social Worker, hung up on several times, lied too and discarded. My 76 year old Indigenous father who Is Vietnam Veteran, has been hospitalised for one month and is terminally ill, refused calls and visit from children, grandchildren, family and friends at the direction of the non-Indigenous carer. The hospital have no regard for the Reconciliation Action Plan RAP on their website. Our father will die alone without his family.

Deceptive emergency sign in front of public emergency sign deliberately tries to get people to go their first. Very unethical.

Excellent place, excellent service but outrageous billing for things and meds you have no control over. Simple rule, if you are private you have money... nope, dont expect your health fund to cover everything. Avoid unless you expect unpleasant surprises and extra billing.
