Waited in waiting room area for3 hours then told bed ready come through now 1am inside ed staff happily chatting left me unattended for an hour before coming to do one. No they were not working just chatting which hey that's fine now it's 2am I clearly ask again regarding doctor progress and despite them already telling me they have spoken with doctor whom said will be just referring me to specialist for major skin ind action and blocked artery. So still no doctor and just need referral it's 3am ask agai. Has really improved its game. Best food and system in Perth. Nursing staff, orderlies and other staff extremely friendly and kind. There should be a smoking area though – people still smoke and a designated area would be safer for patients and the hospital.

Been here twice, especially since they have a very accessible ED where you do not wait for hours and are immediately seen by a senior doctor. Well worth the 200 $ you pay for that. After that admission all smooth, everything according to plan and nurses friendly, well taken care of.

I would certainly choose St John of God Murdoch’s Emergency Department over Fiona Stanley’s every time, having experienced both. My several admissions to St John’s Murdoch have all been most satisfactory. I would, however, be careful with my choice of doctor.
