I recently spent a week with my son after surgery. The staff in the pediatric ward were outstanding. I felt so confident with their skill and knowledge and they were above and beyond helpful in making us feel comfortable with everything that was going on! These people are truly amazing! The only complaint that I had was the odd hours of the cafeteria and having to go through emergency after 9:00 pm.

Brought my wife better twice, excellent service both times. Can’t believe the previous comment by the person who couldn’t pay for parking because they forgot their wallet. Were they allowed to park? Did they bring the rest of the money later? Getting a look and head shake was better than they deserve imo.

My father has been in this hospital for 7 1/2 years…… I’ve visited every 2-3 days for the first 7. Since Father’s Day, i have been visiting every day because his health has gone down hill. I usually only visit for 1/2 an hour…. today I was about 12 minutes over an hour. I only had a toonie on me….. I forgot my wallet at home….. I’ve been a little overwhelmed lately seeing my dad suffer in so much pain… anyway I only had a loonie to pay for my 4 dollar stay…… the big guy at the booth was a jerk….. I told him I would bring the other 2 dollars tomorrow because I’m there every day and he just gave me a dirty look and shook his head. I’m sorry but it would be nice if he had an ounce of consideration….. I thought he was an ass

I am a recent recipient of a knee replacement and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people involved in my care. I thank Dr. A. Berkshire, Dr. I. Miao, Dr. N. Attabib and Dr. T. Chedore. I also want to acknowledge the many nurses, student nurses, LPNs, physiotherapists, administrative assistants and fellow employees from the front offices, the triages, the pre-op and post-op services to the kitchen staff and many hospital volunteers. You were all very professional, skilled and caring in your varied responsibilities. It was truly a well-coordinated team effort between the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital staffs and, while I may not remember all of your names, I will never forget your care and support and I am forever grateful. – Sharyn Pope, Fredericton, NB
