I am Patricia Anne Lucas. I was admitted to the hospital ER for an ultrasound , on 11-11-22, with a terrible case of arthritic gout. The. Nurses and doctors were outstanding. I received excellent care. They were kind and efficient as they went about caring for me and the other patients in their care. I want, also to commend the great EMS teams who got me to the hospital and took me home. Efficient, kind and caring. Thank you all, for you do. God bless you, always.

Excellent care, minus a handul of “sitters” who screamed at me like I had done something wrong. I was in so much pain and I didn’t know how I got there or why. I have had seizures in the past and blacked/passed out several times. My heart rate was all over and anxiety through the roof. Doctors were profressional and knew what they were dping when I didn’t. Minus the handful of sitters whose name I wish I had the wherewithal to remember their names so that I could stand up to them, but I didn’t. They accused me of having a high opinion of myself for some unknown reason. I was sure I was going to die there in misery and on top of it, being accused of something I was not guilty of. I was in excruciating pain and I got cursex crom a couple for it. The remainder of the staff and doctors were excellent. I was laughed at and some nurses blasted music overhead in mockery (night shift). I was so humiliated and crying. Nothing was funny about my stay or reason for being there. 99% were kind and gracious and I did not go there because I wanted to or to be mocked. It was terrible. Cruelty and mockery by a few sitters on top of pain. Life sucks.

Second time in two weeks, confusion rules the day here. No one is ever on the same page, different person different answer. Nice people, terrible execution. Hurry up and wait, we’re going to do this procedure then the next specialist on the next shift changes the direction. Clarifications are also interesting, they speak in circles without answering the questions. Never again!

While admitted for chest pain I was taken a filthy room in ER. After being diagnosed with a blockage I was rushed to surgery due to heart blockage and actually abused by two nurses in recovery which lead up to infection, It was the worst experience in my life.

Over all the hospital is very good.Do not plan on getting past the Hypo policy through. Get your records from your hospital stay before you leave.
