I was sent to this hellhole last year. The PSWs broke my spine, one crazy nurse kept smearing feces on my food and deliberately infected my wounds. My last visitor vomited from the smells.

My father was tagged as having to be escorted to the dining area by a nurse. Yet they would forget to get him for meals and when dad would buzz another nurse would scream at him for not going to the dining area. That nurse also screamed at me. Also the nurse giving discharge instructions meds etc couldn’t speak English well enough to explain and gave me a number to call someone else to explain what the instructions were. My father is deaf and never understood her and she didn’t understand him. The place is clean and most of the staff is friendly but there’s a lot of communication issues

My Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at 58. I had no choice but to put her in long term care at St. JOE’S. The care she received was deplorable. They didn’t cut her toe nails for 8 months, changed meds without notifying me, over medicated her to the point that she was falling all the time. They had no plan to help her from falling. She was left to wander and fall. She fell, hit her head and died as a result of their negligence. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. They take advantage of people who are unable to advocate for themselves .
