My mother died there in 2018. Her jewellery and other belongings were gone.I am still haunted by the fact I ever placed her there.I trusted them,I was wrong.

My husband was there for many years and I was pleased with the overall care he received. The villa was clean and although at times understaffed I found most of the staff exceptionally kind and caring. Many went beyond their duty. Any time I had a complaint it was immediately addressed. The food was not great and there were not a lot of activities ,however, they had a wonderful conservatory lounge and sitting area in front of their cafe for socializing . Lovely grounds with many places to walk or just sit. The rooms all had a wall between them for privacy.

The Villa is filthy, staff open windows to air out the room before they change the residents briefs. Money stolen out of residents room. Saw a resident hanging out of a lift about to drop on the floor. Very poor management!! I STRONGLY suggest looking elsewhere!!!!!

It must be a terrible place to work with such a bad management team and a lack of nurses

While my friend was a resident from July 2016 to March 2017 , I observed that the staff at this Villa were consistently rude, disrespectful and unresponsive to requests for care. The weekend staff were lazy and often refused to care for my friend, while 3 attendants lounged from 2 to 3 pm each day awaiting shift change! The staff called residents names and were not compassionate. My friend died after being ill with the fku, which quickly turned to peumonia, and even when he could not breathe or talk, tge nurse on duty refused to call 911! He died 8 hours later, in hospital after my insistence they call 911. By that time he was admitted septic and in total distress, too ill to treat or save. Horrible staff. Good facilities. Not recommended unless your family has access to add a private nurse or PSW to oversee the care.

I have witnessed staff refer to residents as drama queens, I have witness a man who cannot walk unassisted pull himself out of a wheel chair and end up against the wall unable to get back in his chair. No staff could be found or heard me calling for help, probably because they were all in the nurses room with the door securely closed. I have also witnessed residents calling for help for well over an hour

This place is run on half staff and NEVER READS THEIR CHARTS when it comes to the individual needs of the residents. They do not have the time to care for our loved ones because of the severe shortage of staff. Some staff are great….some do not know how to read.

Residents do not get enough attention. Food is just ok. Residents can ring for help and be left waiting for long periods. Residents who can’t walk left in wheelchairs for 12 hour periods. They should be put to bed after lunch for a sleep but staff doesn’t want the extra work. Clothes are ruined in the wash. New clothes are often stolen before they reach residents room. Some taff are excellent and really care about residents but just as many couldn’t care less and avoid work as much as possible.
