This hospital is falling down staff arent much better, the nurses are self righteous and they are greatly understaffed, they have no training in eldercare and honestly come across as non caring. they dont answer questions and are too busy yakking amongst themselves to care about patients that are getting bruises on them or sitting in there own feces.

Family member diagnosed with post surgery C-Difficle, after repeated attempts at ER to get help over several days and not eating for eight, finally received an IV and some bloodwork, lost over twenty pounds in two weeks. Waiting room and washroom disgusting coupled with dismissive attitudes and sense of entitlement from most. Over a five hour period in isolation with acute C-Diff symtoms not one check in by medical staff. Enough with “doing the best we can”, and now with new hospital to be built, will clearly be more of the same but with that new car smell.

After having a spell in St Jo’s and with very good attention and nursing,, then reading compliants in the local press. I went for a stroll around the hospital, looking into places I really should not have gone, but I was just looking and I found that the hospital was clean and I felt well organised. My only complaint, after being on hospitals in five differnt countries was that the food was of poor quality, and needs inprovement

Very unfriendly staff. You are treated like a drug seeking person even before you get in the doors. Very cold uncaring.I was in there for over a week last year and just asking for medication was like pulling teeth.I waited over an hour to just get my normal medication.Nurses were nice until you needed something for the pain after surgery Dirty, non caring can hear everything about ththe other patients problems.Small. hospital and everyone including cleaning staff know what’s wrong with you.Doctors like to pass you on to another,I never knew who was treating me.

Overcrowded! Unclean. Nurses are swamped...I predict a mass exodus of staff. Staff are generally friendly but there are huge line ups everywhere. Who is running this joint?
