First time for me to have a procedure at the Ambulant Care Center .Thank you to all the doctors and nurses for the exceptional care and professional work. I felt in very good hands. I was impressed by the patience and time everyone took to explain and help to ease my fear. ... and thanks for bringing me one blanket after the other to keep me warm:-)))

Went in on March,2nd, 2023. So bad. Never even seen a doctor. Went in at 9am took until 10:15am to get triaged. Waited outside in the waiting room for about an hour. Was in the back room and hours ticked by at one point an older lady went to the washroom and she couldn’t pull up her pants as she had a fractured shoulder. She was calling for a nurse or someone to help her and I was the only one around. My son ended up running down the hallway (he’s 2). Hours ticked by and nothing. My kids were getting hungry and from vomiting and pooping their guts out in the morning they said they couldn’t give anything as a snack for them. (Their Lunch bag was in my car). My son ended up freaking out for about an hour and he couldn’t do it anymore. I made the decision to leave as my daughter was also starting to lose it (They are 2 and 4). I went to the desk there were four nurses on chairs talking about their upcoming weekend, one was spinning on a chair. I understand that your allowed to talk about normal things at work but you literally didn’t even check on anyone as the doctors were in the research room talking and eating lunch. Like come on! STRATHROY HOSPITAL IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!! Had another experience with my daughter with a broken foot and she sat for 7 hours in the waiting room with a broken toe. Got an X-ray another hour goes by and doctor says its not broken. So we go home. Next morning I get a phone call saying yup it’s broken you have to come back in so we can splint it. And I asked do we have to wait another 7 hours and they say well it is busy so we can’t guarantee you’ll be seen quickly. I told my daughter we need to go back and she freaked out for over an hour and she’s a really calm kid. So I splinted it myself. She’s fine now and she now panics going to the hospital. Thanks Strathroy hospital i will no longer donate!

Hospital is OK but emerge is unbelievably rude and no compassion, they left my 40 year old son literally crying in pain ,a grown man has to be pretty bad to cry in public, they would not let me in with him to try to calm him and…the worst experience was 5 years ago,I was having heart failure and 0 potassium level because dr perkin prescribed and I was allergic to ,I passed out in emerge, the over dosed me with morphine, had to give me naloxone and was dead for a few minutes…beware

Took my son for the THIRD time with a fever of 104. He’s 2. Each time a ridiculous wait period, and then doctor spends two minutes saying I’m being a âdoctor momâ (I’m an RN) and refused to give my son anything saying it’s allergies. Sorry, any fever that grade lasting more than 72 hrs should be looked into. Complete jerks. Took my son for the third time at 5am knowing they’d be slow, we were the only ones in the waiting room, at 7 am we left to go to London. Save your time. What a waste

Had first mammogram Apr.16/22. Follow up mammogram and ultrasound May 25th. June 1st biopsy done and results – cancer (slow growing) . June 17 magnetic seed implanted. June 27 – lumpectomy surgery by Dr. Jain. I’m so grateful for the quick response. The staff in all the departments were amazing. I couldn’t have received any better care. I would like to say thank you to everyone . I would highly recommend this hospital.
