If the rating could be 0 stars, I would indicate that on here. The most unprofessional, uncaring medical team I’ve ever encountered. Their methods of practice are HIGHLY questionable and often contradicting each other. They lack compassion for patients and their family members and will refuse to treat a patient if they don’t agree to what they want. If you have the ability to go to another hospital, please do. Most people are left to die there unattended.

Rude and uncaring staff! Nurses are awful!!! I used to have sympathy for the nursing staff but after both my daughters needing life saving surgeries I really am disgusted in the treatment my girls received. They need to be a patient and on the receiving end of what the general public has had to put up with .

I was hit by a car 6 years ago. The EMS woman thought I was faking and said get up and get in the ambulance after I said I can't sit up. She then grabbed me under my anles and the other EMS under my arms. The lifted, my left leg spasmed and I screamed. I screamed because mu left knee and calf bone had been shattered. On arriving at the hospital she must have told triage that I was faking because they immediately said after the X-ray you can go haome,. I said are you crazy?. They then put me in a room with about 20 other injured people. I had now water for 5 hours and I was left on a gurney the foot of my injued leg dangling over the end. No one put a splint on it. I kept sliding down the gurney and when I tried to move myself back up my leg would spasm and I would cry out in pain. When I did that twice a nurse came over and said SHHH there are children here. I told her then get them out because it will happen anytime I move. When I had to go for my X-ray they lifted me onto the table almost the same way the EMS did. I then had to go for a different type of X-ray and I told them get the gurney to the height pof the table and don't touch me. I managed to shimmy over. When the surgeon showed up he said rhe first x-ray wasn't good enough so I had to have a second one done. After that he told me it's the worst damaged knee he has ever seen and had two nurses come and spling my knee. after that I was left in a hallway for 5 more hours until I got a room. Four days into my hospital stay and 3 days after my surgery a nurse tells me I have to leave or they will start charging me $5000/day.

I would literally go to Toronto before coming here if I could. Had a major car accident as a kid, my mom had a major spinal injury and they almost made her get up and go home. She had to show them she literally couldn't walk until they realized she had a serious spinal injury. Left her exposed with no cover for half an hour at one point and she couldn't move because of her injury. They sent my little sister home with a fracture even after x-ray (which they said showed “nothing”), we only knew something was very wrong when my sister would scream and cry (she was maybe 3 years old), when we tried to get her to walk. Took her back, made them x-ray her again, and they found the fracture. The place hasn't improved much since then.

My friend came with an burning sensation issue on his skin, waited for almost 4hours to see the doctor. Must take some initiative to strengthen the health service in Canada. Don't make the patients to wait for such a long time.

The community deserves much better than this. Disengaged rude nursing staff. Charge nurse hiding at desk while buzzers for help go unanswered. Nurses using personal phones saying they are work phones. People waiting for 30 minutes plus for pain medication. Ministry of Health needs to investigate
