I spent 45 days at the Orchard. It opened up my eyes and gave me the tools I needed to achieve long term sobriety. The food and the staff were all amazing and I am so grateful to the Orchard for putting me on the path to achieve long term sobriety. I have over 3 years sobriety now and a big part of that success has to do with my time spent at The Orchard.

    Thank you Orchard!

One year clean sober today. Best decision to accept the help offered by my family. Orchard staff are outstanding. I’ve stayed in contact and regularly attend alumni gatherings.

I am on a family vacation and am sitting here filled with gratitude reflecting on how happy, connected, and at ease me and my family now are together. My counsellor and recovery coach at the Orchard taught me to write down five things I am grateful for every day. Today the Orchard is at the top of my list for showing me how to live my life sober and free of resentment. The staff are exceptional, all of them. I miss the gym, the food and the people. Life is good.

I was from West Vancouver , but after several traumatic life events, I took a downward spiral into heroin and crack and ended up spending time on the DTES. I never thought I would be able to achieve Sobriety. After attending three treatment centres, I went to the Orchard . My addiction had taken everything from me, mentally, physically, and spiritually, I was broken . All of the staff went above and beyond the call of duty . The education I received combined with the Doctors , counsellors, support staff were all extremely professional, kind, and cared about me . I did the primary care program and then the extended care program , followed by out patient . The Orchard supported me in my transitions and met me where I was at in my process of recovery. I am now 11 and a half Years Sober , which means I have long term recovery. I now have a Life beyond what i could have ever dreamed of. What I Cherish most in my Life are My Children , who I am now able to be present for and a positive part of their lives . My family and I now have a house full of recovery, which is the greatest blessing of all. The Orchard has given my family the tools to live in recovery . With Gratitude

I spent a few weeks at the orchard in the fall of 2022. The facility was heaven, the staff and food top notch. I wish that I could have spent the whole time there that I had paid for, but I was unfortunately discharged before my time was up. The doctors treating me did not listen to my, and my family's pleas for prescribing the proper medication for my recovery. Unfortunately I ended up having multiple seizures and was admitted to the lionsgate hospital on three occasions. I do believe they were concerned they would face a lawsuit if something terrible happened to me. I just want people to know that they are not equipped to handle complicated addictions. I would like to say that I have been sober since being discharged, I do believe that my brief stay there did have a positive impact on me, despite me having to take anti seizure medication indefinitely.

My 42 days at this facility was life changing. Not only did they address my substance abuse, The Orchard helped me look at life differently, in a more positive way. The Staff was very caring, supportive, and informative. My deepest Thanks to the Orchard.

Hard to put a price on a place literally saved my life. The recovery business has to do that but boy was this place worth it. Beautiful spot with great staff. It's not an easy road and no one can force you to walk it, but if you want to recover this place will help you get your life back.

I spent 42 days at the Orchard this fall, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the services I received. The location was beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food is top-notch. Obviously no rehab has all the comforts of home, but the Orchard came extremely close. The big difference maker at the Orchard compared to other facilities is the quality of 1:1 counselling available. My counsellor at the Orchard was the best and most competent I've ever worked with, and I know from personal experience that this aspect of the treatment experience is crucial to its overall benefits. I'd recommend The Orchard to anyone who asked. Great place!

I recently went to the Orchard and I think there are both positive and negatives to every facility, no one is perfect. I was extremely pleased with my personal counsellor, she was informative and encouraging. When it came to the group therapy sessions, they were all handled differently but helped me through my 30 year battle with addiction. I was disappointed in one experience where I was in a family counselling session with a woman who is not on the permanent staff list. She picked on two individuals during the session and made several inappropriate jokes related to substance use. I'm unsure if she is temporary staff or not, however, she left myself, the family members, and the other patients in extreme distress after the session. I only point this out because I would like anyone considering the facility to be aware of this, as I would not want another person to be ganged up on or made fun of while they are in a vulnerable state. Not everyone who works in a facility will handle certain subjects perfect, but this was unbelievably disappointing and sad to watch what looked like projection and patronization. There was also bullying that took place amoung the younger crowd that I witnessed that was handled very poorly. Gossiping is inevitable in rehabilitation facilities, but bullying others should be looked into further. Overall it is a good facility, but those two areas could use some work.
