My brother went here for mental health problems. He was given an appointment time in which he went to and they told him that his appointment had been the day before the given time. He had it written down by the receptionist, and they still took him out of the system and told him that he was no longer welcome because he missed his appointment. I have never in my life heard of a “metal health” facility do that to someone. I am immensely disappointed in the tri cities metal health centre. You failed my brother when he really needed help.

Thank You Dr.Anthony Oshun. After 17 years of unsuccessful treatment and being totally dysfunctional, misdiagnosed with all forms of mental illnesses, try and error medicines, I got a 100% successful treatment by you and Dr.Janel Casey. I have a normal, happy life now…
    Happy Sunday, God Bless! 🖤🙏

It’s unfortunate to see so many of us hurting and not having access to proper services especially when you are in crisis. Our government needs to open their eyes cause all these employees you’re all complaining about are still human and have to work within certain parameters and they are burned out and overworked.
Please have some respect and kindness for our fellow humans.
Yes it’s true the services and facilities aren’t great but I want to give a huge shout out to the best psychiatrist I’ve ever met after many terrible tries.
Dr. Fagbuyi Oluwakayode (Dr. Kay) I thank you for hearing me for seeing my full struggle and empowering me and getting me the proper plan and encouragement to follow my gut as I’m the best person to know my body and mind.
I really want to thank you from a fellow mental health worker knowing the huge struggles we deal with and having you as my psychiatrist has truly saved my life.
I WISH I COULD GIVE YOU A GOLDEN STAR
Dr. Fagbuyi Oluwakayode keep going and know that you do make a difference……

The Tri-city mental health is a depressing place. From the building itself to the rest of the staff…The only thing the Drs are good for are writing prescriptions. They don’t think out side of the box and only want to keep you heavily medicated! They hear you talking but they don’t actually listen. I’m Extremely unhappy and very disappointed…

Wow… those positive comments on dr Fagbuyi or dr kay patients below they must have been manic or delusional at the time to write what they wrote! He is by far far the worst doctor I have ever had. Zero social skills and bed side manners… he explains nothing to you and and refuses to try different meds if not working… good riddance. Glad I got a new dr!

This review is specifically for Dr.Oluwakayode (aka Dr. Kay). A rating of 5/5 doesn't do him justice- he is easily one of the best physicians who I've been a patient for. Explained everything very clear and with empathy and kept the mood light with jokes which I really appreciated. He was completely confident in his opinion, diagnosis, and treatment plan for me, which I have not had with my previous psychiatrists. I feel I am now in the best hands under his care and optimistic for the future. Outstanding.

Everyone from the receptionist to the case managers and to the drs are are all clock watchers. They are only in it for the money!! No love. Dr. Fagbuyi Oluwakayode truly is incompetent and unqualified. He must learn the newer medications that are currently available… He has zero communication skills as well has zero bedside manners. He is by far the worst Dr. I have come across in having bipolar for 20 years… He must either learn how to communicate with his patients or find a new profession.

I saw Dr. Kay for 45 minutes and in between him cutting me off and constantly telling me not to talk about some of my mental health problems because it was on my file he decided I wasn't bipolar. He still want me on a mood stabilizer that reacts really poorly with cannabis even though I smoke it multiple times in a day. I only found out that they react really poorly from my own research. He never once mentioned it as a risk and just recommended i stopped smoking purely for my mental health issues. I am first nations and I use it spiritually so we'll see how this combination goes

I recently saw Dr. Oluwakayode (Dr.Kay) and I was very impressed with him! He's very knowlegdeable and listened to everything I had to say. I couldn't be happier with the health care I received from him :) The staff were also very kind and I had no issues whatsoever with them!
