I found the facility to be a very welcoming place. The staff work hard to care for all the residents. The staff all work together and go beyond their employable duties.

Contrary to the ridiculous comments below from disgruntled terminated employees, this Home is one of the BEST long term care homes in Brandon, MB. Management and staff at this home work with compassion and excellence. They care for the residents with servants hearts. Every resident is treated with the upmost dignity and respect. This award winning Long Term Care Home is exactly the place where you want to entrust the care of your loved one. When residents are admitted to Valleyview Care Centre they never want to leave our family despite having chosen another Home in the area prior to moving in. Congratulations Valleyview Management and Staff and keep up the great work !

I worked at this facility and wouldn't let a dog live there, let alone a human. The management is incompetent and the HCAs are, more often than not, uncertified. Anyone can walk in off the street and become a health care aide there. Many of the bathrooms had mildew problems that maintenance ignored. Money is spent on window dressing while the recreation program is inadequate and housekeeping suffers.

Some of the staff of this insane place were not polite. They talked ill of each other when the other person was not present to defend themself. There are no properly qualified Recreation Therapy Staff on site to assess residents, plan or implement meaningfull activities for the residents. It was a joke to learn that kitchen staff have been given the task to provide Recreation Therapy to the Residents!!

I had to take my mother out of this place because the staff were rude and unqualified to properly carry out their duties. Can you believe that kitchen staff are called upon to run and oversee the Recration Therapy Program? Why do other homes have properly trained staff (diploma or degree) in Recreation Therapy and this place falls so terribly short?
