Was there on the 4th of May for an overnight stay for Prep for a Colonoscopy the following day; wasn't given a pillow, no arm band, no allergy bracelet, no checking of sugars (Severe Insulin Resistant); I checked my own on my own monitor as I carry it at all times; I had already been admitted and got a call reminding me to be there for my appointment; I explained that I hadn't been able to stomach food or liquids due to antibiotics for Bronchitis, by the time 6:30am rolled around, I saw verbal abuse of other patients in room across from me, took almost 4 hours to get a pillow, and then they wanted me to sign papers saying Prep was a fail, even though there had been no issues in Edmonton; even the Anaesthetic Specialist couldn't make me feel comfortable; I refused to allow these people to touch me; and I suggest you all do the same

I was there with atrial fibrillation, my heart rate was over 230 I couldn’t breathe. The nurse Dave I don’t know his last name made a comment”are you sure it’s not your hiatus hernia” I had been there a few weeks before and thought I was having a heart attack because of spasming, it was extremely rude sarcastic and hurtful as I was too out of breath and hooked up to an electrocardiograph or whatever it was too defend myself and shouldn’t have had to. Later I was sleeping and the nurse putting on the tight hose for clots really hurt me just dug her knuckles into my ankle then asked me why I was so tired as if I was faking then forced me to get up and brush my teeth, not sure of her name but she had long dark hair very inappropriate behaviour. Around 11pm dr. Malaud wanted me to sign a waiver for the paddles to get me into a normal rhythm I refused being an hour and a half away from a real hospital thinking if I die it’s not going to be alone in the middle of the night. All in all a very frightening experience and a lot of inappropriate behaviour from so called professionals
