Health Authority needs to review the Pan Am Clinic protocol. My husband has been on the PanAm clinic waitlist for spine pain management shot for over 3 years! He has had 2 intake meetings, where they DID nothing for him…just took same info over and over. He has been phoning once a month to make another appointment in April, but is now met with voicemail —and then they do not return his calls. Poor service indeed.

You’re dealing with an organization that doesn’t understand the patients. They can make mistakes that don’t seem to get resolved. I can’t get help or support, and the emergency ward just sends me home without resolve. I’m basically disabled, failing to thrive, trying to keep myself alive on my own.

Home care case coordinators and team leaders are ineffective and treat their clients like cattle, especially downtown branch in Winnipeg

This organization is an absolute waste of space. Our healthcare is deplorable to say the least, and this place has 27000 people on the payroll for what?! We had better health care before this corrupt self serving entreprise came around. They’ve already taken kickbacks and tried to cover up one of the worst cases of failed medical management in the world…yes, the world. I was severely neglected a few years back by a local hospital and now have permanent damage and they have not returned a phone message for weeks. I got through on another number awhile back and the person put me in speakerphone and it sounded like there was a few people listening in. What a complete joke.

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is the most corrupt, duplicitous organization I have ever dealt with in my life. Most of the time the executives who supposedly run this organization are on holiday and one of them already has taken six weeks holidays since the summer. My father died a horrific death due to institutional incompetence yet they have total written off my family’s concern about the neglect that resulted in his death. It is a shame that this organization’s main goal is to retain their power and not serve the citizen’s of Winnipeg. I pray the next government will dismantle this useless self-serving organization so people will receive good quality health care and not have to deal with such arrogance and an organization that does nothing to address the health care concerns of the citizens of Winnipeg.
