Just had surgery at WGH and had to spend a couple days there. Fantastic caring staff. Nice private room that was very clean. Great prep and O/R staff. Believe it or not the food was great. I mean great. Hot when I got it and had large portions and variety. Fantastic job WGH!

It is so scary to have what is Essentially at best a walk in clinic.. l have been to hell and back for them to turn me away after a botched surgery in Toronto. Had to drive myself only to have been told l should have been air ambulances there and if l was lucky l had maybe a couple of hours left to live.. truly truly a horrible experience which almost cost me my life.

Doctors at Woodstock hospital DNT care n DNT take the time to actually help. you actually have to drive to another hospital to actually get help that’s ridiculous

I went to emerg stating I’d been sober for a really long time, was receiving new medication from a psychiatrist and it was triggering my addiction to the point where I felt I needed to see a different doctor in the inpatient unit. They told me that they don’t deal with people like me. ‘Emerg doctors job is to stop an overdose. What do you want me to do?’
I argued with him until I had to leave. Called the inpatient unit myself and asked to be admitted. I was told that the emerg doctor had already cleared me so I should be fine. STOP telling addicts or people struggling with mental health to go to this hell hole.

Very well maintained, relatively new (as far as hospitals go) and easy to navigate to your department. My son had surgery there in 2012 and staff took the time to teach me about my son's aftercare. They were kind and informative. I have had two separate MRI at Woodstock General. No waiting once you arrive. The MRI runs 24-7 every day. The radiology staff are great! My son's father attended Woodstock General after he suffered a stroke at 49yo. All of his aftercare and rehab was done at Woodstock General with state of the art equipment and updated methodology. 9.9 of 10!

most of all communication is sooooo poor. nurses roll their eyes if you want to talk to them. no careplan. beds barely fit through doors in the ER. supplies are never availables. nurses respond to callbells can be up to an hour . they have treated my family member as having dementia, but this family member passed cognitive test. nurses yelled at the family member several times. other family member was send home cause no one on staff to do an ultrasound to check for appendisitis. That this hospital may call itself hospital. Every admission of my familymember has been a bad experience. no showers given for 4 weeks. also no hair combed. never helped with drinking. yelled and screamed at. so if me as a familymember did not help with showering it would not have happened.

Had to use ambulance service and emergency room. Both services were excellent. Thank you nurses and doctors. Do not remember names except for caring dr. F Kamal . There was also a young lady doctor with a lot empathy and very helpful. Thank you very much for taking care of me. Urszula Krzewina

My husband had day surgery and not only was it pain free, but the surgical team were most helpful answering all our questions, sending us home with literature, AND a signed thank you card from Cheryl, Sandy,Nicole and Chris. YOU are the ones who MUST be thanked.
