Staff is attentive , communicative and a blessing for those suffering catastrophic medical issues. Dealing at a distance for a family member has been difficult but all here have been supportive and caring through the most difficult of times. God bless the work they do!

One star is for the staff who tried their best in the worst of circumstances. My sister almost died at their incompetent hands. She was there for months in the worst kind of hell because they kept giving her the wrong medications. They would not listen to the family and she was not protected, because they refused to acknowledge the POA that was written. They even threatened to trespass family, when the family tried to get her moved to a different facility. She fell several times and suffered concussions from the falls. They are understaffed with people who are not properly trained. If you want your family to stay alive Do Not have them go to either Kindred facility. It is a miracle my sister survived this helish place.

My name is Roel Aquino I'm a patient at kindred flamingo hospital I have brought in as a patient with coved and I was in their coved unit for about 2 weeks and now I came out of the coved unit and in a regular room. I am blessed to be alive and survive coved with the help of the kindred employees that have treated me so well. Thank you Debbie C for always taking your time to come and visit me even when I was in the coved unit. Kindred employees treated me like family and today I get to go home.

My name is Gene Wisiewski and I've been a patient at kindred flamingo hospital for about a month now. I would like to say thank you to Annette the CNA because she was the only one who took the initiative to change out my mattress I had been sleeping on for a few weeks. She was the only one who noticed the mattress sunk in the middle and made it very uncomfortable to sleep on so my thanks to Annette. I have has several really good nurses and CNAs and also the rehab team has been wonderful.

My name is Christopher Panzarello in room 626. I want to let people know about kindred flamingo hospital. How caring these people are and how helpful and kind they have been towards me. Thank you Jenna the dietitian who helps me fill out my menu everyday. Matti the supervisor who is so kind and caring. Marc the night nurse, he has been so nice to me and is always there on time when my medicine is do. Debbie the infection lady who brought in clothes for me, I really thank her. The administration who comes to my room and checks on me. Debbie my patient advocate who is in my room everyday just to talk to me and make sure I’m fine. She also has bought me new clothes that I haven’t had in years. Also a blanket and a teddy bear. I’m very thankful to theses folks and they need to be rcognize for their hard work. Hi my name is Terri Holtwick and I’ve been a patient at Kindred Flamingo Hospital more then a year. Today I’m pleased to say I get to go home. I’m very excited and a little nervous too. Brian and myself would like to say thank you to the whole staff at Kindred for taking such great care of me. Thanks to my doctor Saxena and too Robyn my case manager , thanks to all the RNs, CNAs, housekeepers and Woundcare team.. Thanks to the administration team who always came by my room too check on me. Hi my name is Debbie and I’m a patient at kindred flamingo on the hospital side. I’m going to be getting discharged in a few days and I get to go home. I want to say thank you to several people that have taken great care of me. First the charge nurse Rochelle and Dave and Cecil . The nurses that took care of me Monita and excel and Kelly Elia and most of the others ones as we’ll. the CNAs are John and Romon and all the upper staff from the administration .. Jacki and Debbie and Terri. Everyone has made me feel welcome and that they all worked with me to get better and I’m greatful for that. I also liked to say thank you to Vicki from plant ops she helped me with my problem with the code blue button and she had me moved to another room. Also every time I needed some heat in my room Vicki always helped me. I also want to say thank you too Alex he always explained things to me. Please keep up the good work cause I’ve been too some other places and they were a nightmare . Thanks to Debbie the patient advocate for willing to drive to my house to check on my husband who hasn’t been feeling good.. When he was answering his phone I was worried and Debbie said she would go check on him.. He finally showed up but I was very greatful that she was willing to go. From my nurses to the CNAs and the house keepers and especially the Rehab Dept who has worked very hard with me to build my strength to get strong enough before going home.
