Bladder Cancer
๐Overview
This condition typically begins in the urothelial cells, which are found in the lining of the bladder and other parts of the urinary tract. While these growths often start in the innermost layer, they can eventually grow into or through the deeper layers of the bladder wall.
As the disease progresses, the abnormal cells may spread beyond the bladder to involve surrounding structures or distant sites in the body. This diagnosis includes various specific types of cellular growth that were historically classified under different medical terms.
