Epididymal Cyst
๐Overview
An Epididymal Cyst is a noncancerous growth that forms within the epididymis, the structure responsible for storing and transporting sperm. These cysts typically present as a smooth, painless mass and are a frequent clinical finding during scrotal evaluations.
While these fluid-filled sacs may share characteristics with spermatoceles, they are physically distinct from the testicle and are generally identified through physical examination or diagnostic imaging. Clinical observation indicates that these growths are common and often appear as a benign collection of fluid.
