Dr. Richardson graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Southern California and earned his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School with scholarships from Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Harvard Medical Linnane and Harvard National. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the LAC+USC Medical Center/ Doheny Institute. Dr. David Richardson is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Keck School of Medicine of University of California.ââ Throughout his professional life, Dr. Richardson has engaged in the tireless pursuit of excellence, learning, and educating his patients and the public about eye health, particularly blindness prevention. He maintains two (2) health blogs and is an author of a book on cataracts. Dr. Richardson started his private practice in San Gabriel, CA in 1999 where he spearheaded the use of such modern technologies as the accommodating Crystalens (with cataract surgery) and the iTrack microcatheter (canaloplasty glaucoma surgery).
