Dwayne E. Jones

Dr. Jones is among a select group of pain specialists in the Kansas City area with fellowship certification through The American Board of Anesthesiology, The American Board of Pain Medicine, The American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians and The World Institute of Pain. A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Dr. Jones received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University. He completed medical school at Meharry Medical College, following the footsteps of his grandfather, father and brother. Dr. Jones completed a rotating surgery internship at The George Washington University Hospital, followed by an anesthesiology residency at UCLA-affiliated King/Drew Medical Center. He completed fellowship training in interventional pain management at The Oregon Health Sciences University. In his free time, Dr. Jones enjoys tennis, running, college basketball, and spending time with his wife and four children.
