Dr. Patrick Foye, M.D., is Founder and Director of the Coccyx Pain Center (Tailbone Pain Center), located in the United States, just outside of New York City. Dr. Foye is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Rutgers University: New Jersey Medical School, in Newark, New Jersey (formerly UMDNJ). Dr. Foye has been honored to receive many teaching awards throughout his career as a medical educator. Dr. Foye has received the UMDNJ Excellence in Teaching Award and been a member of the UMDNJ Master Educator's Guild. USA Today newspaper named Dr. Foye on their list of “Most Influential Doctors”. The American Academy of PM&R (AAPM&R) honored Dr. Foye with their national “Distinguished Clinician Award”. Dr. Foye has given more than 1,000 medical lectures and has authored more than 200 published medical journal articles, textbook chapters, abstracts, etc., mostly on the topic of musculoskeletal pain and especially coccydynia (coccyx pain, tailbone pain).
