Fatal Administration Warning
Bortezomib must never be administered into the spinal fluid (intrathecal administration). This route of administration is fatal and has resulted in death. The medication is only intended for intravenous or subcutaneous use.
Peripheral Neuropathy
Bortezomib frequently causes peripheral neuropathy, which is damage to the nerves, typically in the hands and feet. Symptoms may include numbness, tingling, burning sensations, or pain. Hypotension
