📋Overview

Imfinzi is a monoclonal antibody that belongs to a class of drugs known as immune checkpoint inhibitors. It works by targeting and blocking a specific protein called PD-L1, which is often found on the surface of some cancer cells and immune cells.

By blocking this protein, the medication prevents cancer cells from hiding from the immune system. This allows the body's natural defenses to more effectively recognize, target, and attack the cancer cells.
