Treatment of Acromegaly

• Blocking Receptors: Somavert is a modified version of human growth hormone. It is shaped in a way that allows it to bind to growth hormone receptors, but it does not trigger the signal to produce IGF-I.

Injection Site Reactions

Hypersensitivity

Pregnancy

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies of Somavert in pregnant women.
