📋Overview

Tibsovo works by blocking the activity of a mutated enzyme called isocitrate dehydrogenase-1 (IDH1). In certain cancers, this mutation leads to the overproduction of a substance that prevents cells from maturing and causes them to grow out of control.

By inhibiting the mutated IDH1 enzyme, this medication helps to decrease the number of abnormal cells and encourages the development of healthy, functional cells. This targeted approach focuses on the specific molecular changes that drive the growth of the cancer.
