📋Overview

Xiaflex is a biologic medication composed of a mixture of enzymes called collagenases. These enzymes are derived from the bacterium Clostridium histolyticum and are designed to target and break down collagen, a structural protein found in connective tissues.

When collagen accumulates excessively, it can cause tissues to thicken and harden. Xiaflex works by dissolving these collagen deposits to help restore normal tissue structure and flexibility.
