Treatment of the Flu

Xofluza is used to treat acute, uncomplicated influenza (the flu) in adults and children who have experienced symptoms for no more than 48 hours. It is effective against both influenza A and B viruses. When taken early, the medication can help shorten the duration of symptoms and reduce the severity of the illness.

Prevention After Exposure

Pregnancy

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies regarding the use of Xofluza in pregnant women. While animal studies using high doses did not show evidence of harm to the developing fetus, it is not yet known if the medication is safe for use during human pregnancy.
