Dr Thompson has been my GI for 18 months. He has helped me greatly and I am forever thankful – He is never against trying new things and I am thankful as there is no known cure to this disease – so he cheers on any attempts that I make to look for other possibilities.

Dr.Thomsom is an extremely mild mannered and seems to be very caring at first. However when his many tests come back with normal results he gives up and suggests your problem is in your head, and he uses his receptionist to relay this. He does not seem to want to try any natural remedies nor does he check up and see how you are doing. He tends to spend more time teaching and uses patients as a pass time.

I really like Dr. Thomson. A very nice man. Very patient. Took lots of time to explain things. I am very comfortable with him. Happy with his work and his professionalism.

Dr. T is Definitely a “conservative” doctor when it comes to treatment–but I certainly appreciate a doctor who airs on the side of caution. He has always been polite, knowledgeable, and caring whenever I have attended an appointment.

I’ve been under Dr. Thomson’s care for more than 10 years now. He is caring and concerned and has a great bedside manner. Having a gastro specialist like him makes all the difference. He does spend a lot of time abroad now, teaching and giving seminars, so it’s difficult to see him quickly. My only issues were that he and I didn’t agree that diet could really change my health (he leans more toward upping meds instead of changing diet) and his receptionists are never friendly and were having some kind of cat fight in front of the patients in the waiting room the last time we were in (which I let him know aobut). Other than that – great Doc!

Not only is he a very knowledgeable and kind Doctor, but he is obviously a very genuine and good person. He is very patient and thorough and makes one feel like their condition is important and like it is his mission to get to the bottom of it. After years of suffering, he has been the one to help me. I'm so pleased to have been helped by him.

My son who is mentally challenged has been in the hospital under Dr. Thomsons's care for approximately five days, to this day I have never spoken to or even seen this man. I have talked to residents who constantly contradict each others diagnosis. My son is seriously ill and this physican does not return phone calls to me in fact I rather doubt he has even seen my son. Considering how ill this young man is and the many problems we face it would definately be of some service to see this faceless physican.
