Dr Beischer is approximately 3 times more expensive than other foot / ankle specialist surgeons. He is may have a good reputation but he is rude and arrogant and more concerened about his reputation than his patients. I have senn 3 previous orthopedic surgeons for my foot condition and was told beischer was the best surgeon for this operation as he is a tendon transfer specialist. In hindsight, I wish I had of gone to a heart surgeon as i am sure they still would habe done the same job and not been so rude!! will defintely be going back to one of my previous surgeons for any further treatment. Stear clear of this guy if you want someone who genuinely cares!!

I had surgery late 2013 and found Andrew great. He knows his stuff and I wouldn’t hesitate to return to him again if there was a need. I’d read some things about him being rude and arrogant, so was pleasantly surprised. I’d best describe him as efficient and professional.

I went to Dr Beischer mid 2014 for a bunion correction and removal of arthritis and straightening of the second toe. Dr Beischer is straight to the point as far as consultation goes. But his knowledge and expertise are the best you can access in Victoria, possibly Australia. He is a highly skilful surgeon – do the research – confirmation is definitely out there. I have had no complications from the surgery and my foot is now better and than it has been for at least 12 years – no pain whatsoever. It’s the surgery that is important. This guy will not, I repeat will not stuff up your feet or what ever else he needs to operate on – depending on your complaint/condition. Look past the negative reviews. a surgeon’s skill is the main issue at the end of the day. I would highly recommend Dr Beischer if you want the best. From my experience you will never regret choosing Dr Beischer for your surgery.

don’t waste your time with this person!!!!!! $240 for a 10 minutes (if that) visit!!! as a first time patient I thought this guy would listen to my history. instead all I got was a rude arrogant person who wasn’t interested in what I had to say. he might have the qualifications but being in constant pain for a year and coming to him for his help, his ‘bed side manner’ is non-existent.

Andrew knows his stuff – however, his manner in which he presents it is rude, & arrogant. Was not interested in what I had to say when I inquired about my knee (which had problems too) and was quick (almost too quick) to recommend surgery on my Ankle.

I found his manner to be rude, intimidating, dismissive & arrogant. I don’t doubt the advice he gave, nor his ability, but his method of delivering his message left me feeling belittled and humiliated and didn’t address my concerns.
