Awful. So awful I feel compelled to comment here. And not only was he rude, unhelpful and dismissive, his dermatology resident he had in observing was as well, so I got to be ignored and condescended to by two idiots in the three minutes I was in the office. Terrible, terrible doctor. How do these people make it through medical school?

I was referred to Mr.Lin (he does not deserve the title Dr.) by my family doctor for dry, sensitive skin. His recommendation was to use lotion from a drug store. WOW….what a BRILLIANT man! I told him that I have tried everything at the drug store. He said that was impossible. He then wrote down 2 lotions to try at the drug store. I told him that my family doctor already suggested those and again I had an reaction to them. He proceeded to tell me to try them and test a small spot on my inner arm for 2 weeks and see if I have a reaction to it. I told him that I already know that I will have a reaction to it. And he left the room. Now I have to take more time off work to see my family doctor for another referral. If anyone reads this and wants to put in a complaint against this so-called doctor, you can do so by calling the Alberta Health Services Patient Concerns and Feedback team at 1-877-753-2170.

I went in to see this Doctor in March 2010. I was in his office not even 4 minutes. He told me I have a very pronouced crease on both sides of my mouth. From a file folder that had labels, I was given a precription for a creme. I know the Doctor could not forsee the reaction that I had, but my lips doubled in size and the angular chelitis was very bubbled and red.

ABSOLUTELY the worst doctor I have ever been too. DON’T EVEN GO…better to jump off a cliff! Didn’t even to listen to my symptoms. Prescribed useless creams and asked me to come back when i had boils again. It takes weeks to get into see him and by that time..its gone. Really RUDE and no manners. He is really disappointing and pathetic excuse for a GOOD DOCTOR!!

I happened to run across this site by accident while I was looking for Dr. Lin’s number- I was calling to make a compliant- how ironic!! I as well had a terrible experience with Mr. Lin. I drove six hours to see this man as I have struggled with itchy skin over the last five years. He did not ask me any questions, and was not interested at all in what I had to say. Mr. Lin prescribed me an antibiotic that I ended up having a severe reaction too- blistery sore burning hands and lips! Although you can not predict if someone is going to react to a medication- surely you should make sure that the medication you are prescribing does not conflict with other meds you are on! By far the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced- Hey Mr. Lin, maybe you should remember who signs your pay check!
