I have had a horrendous experience with this psychiatrist. He always runs late, doesn’t listen to what you’re saying and gives no options for treatment. This Dr was set on overprescribing medication at extremely high doses and would not consider any alternatives despite the fact that the medication was not solving any of my problems. Would not recommend this Dr to anyone.

Dr Wild gave me time, respect and care on this difficult journey. I’d recommend him highly.

Thorough, knowledgeable and caring. Has a good balance between medication and non-medication approaches.

I had a terrible experience with this psychiatrist. He always runs late but the real problem is when you get in to see him. He just keeps repeating questions over and over that you have already given an answer to and doesn’t say anything helpful or comforting. I had to drug myself on sedatives after the last time I saw him, feeling way worse than when I went in. I am going into the care of someone else.

Dr. Tony Wild is the best psychiatrist/medical professional I have seen by far. He is kind, respectful, empathetic and listens to your concerns. He has diagnosed me with and treated me for ADHD and PTSD after years of being misdiagnosed and over-medicated by other psychiatrists. He is incredibly informative, intelligent and takes the time to explain how different mental illnesses/disorders and medications work. I cannot recommend him (and his lovely receptionists) enough. Although he runs a bit late sometimes, it's absolutely worth it and when you are going through a crisis and need that extra time yourself, he will give it to you without making you feel like a burden. I am beyond appreciative for the treatment I have received from Dr. Wild.

Anthony is a brilliant Doctor who knows how to educate patients in ways one may not fully appreciate or recognise until much time has passed. His style of treatment services display compassion, intelligence and is unique. He is a very important Doctor. A trustworthy and informative insight into just how creatively diverse Doctors can be and excel at (by delivering exceptional standards, services and treatment). I'm incredibly lucky and privileged to have had the opportunity to participate as a patient under his care. Thank you for all that you do Dr. Wild! You have contributed to my overall healthcare and view of the healthcare system in ways that can only be described as beneficial in all senses. Much appreciated. (EDIT: The receptionist Tina is an absoloute gem!)

Very intelligent and extremely helpful. Always makes time for me. Couldn’t recommend him more for anyone who doesn’t have a victim mindset. As a young female I felt heard an accepted. At first I was hesitant to see a male psychiatrist as I have only seen female psychiatrists in the past but Dr wild has been amazing. My past psychiatrists always made me feel invalidated and as if I were to blame for my struggles but Dr Wild treats me with respect and dignity. Thanks Dr Wild for everything. His receptionist is awesome as well. The sweetest lady.

I came to Dr Wild for treatment of my C-PTSD and depression when my previous psychiatrist was unable to continue treating me. On the first visit he fell asleep mid-session. He literally just nodded off! In another session while I was talking he cut me off and said he had to go to the toilet and left me alone for several minutes. He takes copious notes and doesn’t make eye contact at all. I only saw him four times but each time he pressured me to talk about my “abuse”. Neither I nor my referring GP had mentioned abuse. It takes time for a trauma victim to develop rapport snd trust to open up about their experiences. I was also concerned about confidentiality in his office after the receptionist told me about a very well known public figure who was having an affair with a specialist (named) at the same medical centre.

His staff member (the older lady) was rude and hostile. He was very late. I didnt find him in any way helpful and he actually could be nasty and abusive. He tries to bribe people to come to his offices by paying for their parking at the Wesley but honestly is not worth it.
