Hard working guy. Figured out my diagnosis right away and reassured me very well. You're lucky if you get this guy if you need to go the the emergency.

Thanks Dr Helman for your professional and kind attention! I was your patient at North York General Emergency dept. on January 2 , 2017. I was totally impressed with the entire Emergency Staff and how smoothly everything ran while inundated with so many patients. Awesome experience overal at North York General!

I’ve been a patient at NYGH for the last two years since my cancer diagnosis. I have been in and out of emerg numerous times but have never been treated so badly as I was few days ago. Dr Hellman proved himself very unprofessional in silently iindicating he didnt want to treat me for whatever ailment I had gone.there….
NYGH is the best hospital and the rest of.the staff is amazing but I was very sad at this ‘great’ doctor’s attitude
I have given him one star but he doesn’t.t deserve that .

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Helman attend to me at North York General emergency on November 1 , 2016. Absolutely amazing in every respect. Great bedside manner, very down to earth and most important extremely knowledgeable. Made an amazing diagnosis of my condition. This is a special doctor and wonderful person.

I saw Dr. Helman today at North York General. Who ever heard of a doctor like this?
He was so marvellous and fantastic that I told him I’m taking out a patent on him. He is very knowledgable and not the least bit arrogant. I’m a senior and he took the time to explain what he was doing regarding my ailments and why. I can’t tell you
how much that meant to me. He saw me as a” person”…….WOW. Thank you Dr. Helman.
