Dr Smith did not come to my delivery as he was on holidays, when I booked we asked about leave known he has a young family and he reassured us he was not taking leave. Dr Smith had leave booked in and did not lets us know. Dr Smith said I should be induced at 37 weeks, I refused to find out the real reason was his leave. I did find him dismissive and arrogant. My pregnancy and birth was straight forward, and not worth the money spent on Dr Smith.

A Truly Lovely Guy- Never thought I would have a male OBGYN. Delivered my Baby and was totally AMAZING

I recently had the absolute pleasure of having my second baby under Dr Smith’s care. Once again he provided the absolute best care I could ask for – not only for my baby but for me as well. Unfortunately this pregnancy proved much harder than my first and included a couple of hospital admission for physical ailments during which Dr Smith continued to look after me. He has a very warm and personable approach and ensured I was included in every decision along the way. I trust him implicitly and wouldn’t go to anyone else! It’s easy to see why he is so popular. Now to convince my husband to have number 3.

Regretfully, not a good experience. There was more than one occasion where I was very disappointed in the communication from both Dr Chris Smith and his team (receptionist/midwife). I had some serious concerns pre and post-birth, and phone calls/emails were not even returned, it was very upsetting. I was expecting an experienced, supportive Dr, but felt Dr Chris was too busy to provide great care.
