What can I say I have known this Dr for 20 years and he is an amazing person and an amazing Dr. He has saved my life, I don't know where I would be without his help. He is totally committed to the care and wellbeing of his patients. His admin staff have always been amazing as well. If you have a problem with Dr Buchholz you need to increase your medication.

I have been seeing Dr. Buchholz since he was a resident. This man has saved my life numerous times. He takes the time to try to understand his patients on a personal level and tries to find what will help them most. He has always been a caring, genuine person who truly wants to live up to what it is to be a doctor and do no harm. Thank you for understanding me and helping me continually

I have been seeing Dr Buchhulz for less then a year . For the amount of things I have been throught i seem that i have somehow become more stronger and life seems alot more easier to cope with . Myself i didi not want to be on medication for the rest of my life but he tod me it is defintly not somethimg he wants to see his patients have to rely on the meds. Can happily say December was a really rough month for me but now I see everything will be ok. Have not been taking my meds now for well over a month and feel the need for them is more Sometimes you just need someone to open up to and get things off your chest. Thungs do get better just surround yourself with good amd forget about the bad. Things will heal and let you move forward unstead of walking backwards or staying at the same road block Thank you once again Dr. Buchholz and your team if it wasnt for you id still be stuck. Looking forward to seeimg you again. But for now Life has to move forward and its time to excel.

An amazing doctor who sometimes isn't always on time, but thats outside of his control. Cares a lot about work life balance. I've seen this doctor for 10+ years. He is the reason I am who I am today. He never gave up on me when I was at my worst. Thank you Dr. B

Contrary to these other posts, I am very unhappy with his diagnosis. At 85 years of age, English not being my first language, or even my third, I was diagnosed as cognitively impaired. I have suffered greatly due to this diagnosis and now, at 90 years of age, I doubt that I will ever be able to regain my independence due to what I consider, his willful indifference to seniors.

Very happy with my experience with Dr. Buchholz. He has as a calming personality & it is easy to relax while speaking with him about very sensitive issues. I’ve been fortunate enough to be treated by him – as required- since 2011, He has aided tremendously in helping me to find understanding & healing within…has givin me hope that I will be okay. Genuinely sensitive, caring, wise & good at what he does. I am greatful to be in the Onoway area & to be able to benefit from this wonderful doctor. 😊

Dr. Buckholz is an exellent psyciatrist. He is caring and understanding. He will not accept patients unwilling to do their best to un Der stand and treat their disorder😊. Very honest and intuitive. He is constantly searching for treatment options😆. Very willing to find info on new treatments. He his kind and knowledgeable . If you are seeking treatment and willing to put forth the effort he is the best . I’ve never had a better psyciatrist. He has an excellent team and travels to Ono way and Mayerthorpe. Working for Alberta Mental Health. He is very dedicated to his work and his patients. I am stable and happy. D.B.T. ,structure, boundaries practice daily works for me😆 . Dr Craig is first a human being,then a psychiatrist, I have seen him on and off over 10 yrs lately on a fairly reg basis. while he has a tendency to be distracted at times , aren’t we all. I don’t know if I get special treatment or what but he’s easy to talk to generally takes an interest and ,for myself, not overly heavy handed eg he makes allowances if I miss an appt. (no he frowns on it) and doesn’t cut me me off visits or meds because of it, Try that with a Dentist!….what can I say? depends what you are looking for . I recommend whole heartedly for “garden variety Neurotics” , folks with more severe (idon’t know ) but the warm personality he generally displays along with a non judgemental demeanor and actual life experience beyond “Text books” make him a “should try” for most .
