One of worst disappointment as to the medical doctor standard of care and even worse as a person, dropped 5stars to none... Medically negligent, innatentive to proper follow up and treatment progress or lack of such, always stating Call me if necessary, instead. I had to request MRI to find source of pain , had to get results faxed to office, as nurse stated it was NOT their job, was too busy to get password from MRI IMAGING to have Dr Gilbert review images, l could not bring personally, due to 4/13/23 floods and flooding my car away. Result, Dr Gilbert retaliation, discharging me, while refusing MRI follow up xmvusit, failing to do the review in medical notes and INATEAD, DEFAMING MY CHARACTER IN MOST CULGAR AND OBSCENE LANGUAGE, IN WRITING, BECOMUNG THE AUTHIR OF SUCH KANGUAGE I NEVER USE IR THOUGHT MEDUCAL PROVIDER IS CAPABLE IF, JUST TO JUSTIFY HIS MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE AND DIACHARGE, ABABDONMENT, with wrist injuries unsuccessfully treated unsuccessfully treated by him that needed follow up and treatment. Irresponsible, negligent and defamatory which should retire before he sinks lower, if it is possible as this misconduct hit the bottom in my book

Dr. Gilbert performed Carpal Tunnel Surgery on both my hands and treated me twice for deQuervains Tendonitis. He is a wonderful surgeon. He takes pride in his work and treats everyone with honesty and respect. He made me feel like I was his most important patient. He takes time to explain all aspects of his diagnosis and treatment plan. He is the most professional doctor I have ever been treated by. A true gentleman!

FOR A SPECIALIST, HE ISN’T VERY SKILLED — RUSHED INTO THE PROCEDURE, TOO QUICK TO JUDGE THE NECESSITY OF SURGERY — HE’S TOO KNIFE-HAPPY.

He made sure I totally understood my condition and took the time to explain everything.

He’s very kind and extremely gentle. His bedside manner is amazing. He’s also a fabulous surgeon. I don’t think anyone else could have put my wrist and hand back together like him.

Whoever said Dr Gilbert is “knife happy” could not have possibly seen the Dr Gilbert that I saw…that was not my experience, nor the experience of the referrals that I have sent to him. In fact, he actually explained to me that I didn’t need the surgery that I had been advised I needed elsewhere. He told my friend that “he loved him either way, whether he decided to have surgery or not”. Dr Gilbert has a reputation of explaining all the options and is passionate that the patients decide for themselves what they want to do–I don’t think he would ever push someone into it at all–he is a true gentleman that so visibly loves what he does and truly cares about his patients and is meticulous with his work. He has a level of honesty and integrity that, unfortunately, has become so rare in medicine and society. He is the best doctor-period.
