For those of you taking "synthroid" ....it is garbage medicine, it is actually just a pro-hormone, inactive until one of the iodine molecules are knocked off the T4 to make it the active hormone T3!! I was sick all the time I was on the garbage synthroid, I was switched over to Dessiccated Thyroid, which is a natural thyroid compound, and I recovered completely! Before I ws switched I had such severe muscle pain that I ended up in the hospital where I was diagnosed with Polymiositis, an inflammatory muscle disease! But that was not the correct diagnosis, it was the synthroid that was the cause of my severe muscle cramps and excruiating pain! That all went away when I went off the garbage synthroid, and onto dessiccated thyroid compound hormone! Others have similar stories to mine!

He was very late when I did get in I explained to him that I felt terrible on synthroid and much better off it but had terrible tsh levels like 125 so he told me that wasn’t possible feeling better and for my heart I needed the synthroid and there was no option which upset me as he didn’t seem to care or want to find out why he finally told me he could give me t3 but it probably won’t work and I will need a higher dose of synthroid and deal with feeling like crap the rest of my life didn’t seem to care and was more worried that it was noon then trying to figure out the strangeness I have been experiencing will not be going back to him

Dr. Morrish too made me feel as though he didn’t care, he was short and demeaning when I had questions and condescending when I had concerns. When it comes to the thyroid medications and possibilities of exploring new options, it’s his way or the highway. Very old school. I would rather suffer with my current side effects then ever to return to Dr. Morrish.

I saw Dr Morrish recently at the Cross Cancer. 20 years ago I had a thyroidectomy. I recently had issues that my GP couldn’t explain and referred me. He has been very thorough exploring a possible recurrence! This doctor has been fantastic. He has even called me on the phone to discuss some testing! (No doc has ever done that) Amazing bedside manner! Explained everything in laymen’s terms. He knows his****! Took more than enough time with me to go over every past, current and future detail. His staff (nurse Mike) has been fantastic too! I would highly recommend this doctor/ staff.

It’s been a few years since I consulted Dr Morrish for a weight issue I suspected was linked to thyroid issues. He recommended that I take Ozempik, which at the time had only be approved for use diabetes type 2 patients ( I am NOT diabetic). They were trying it out on overweight patients. Today, I just read disastrous review about the side effects of Ozempic, which I thought I didn’t need and didn’t take.
I’m so glad I didn’t listen to your advice, Dr Morrish. I hope the perks outdo the ill health / death of a few patients!

Literally told me that the side effects I’m having on the medication he put me on are not real. I Googled the drug he put me on and every single search result said that severe depression, Eratic weight gain, and bone pain are all side effects of this drug and he straight up told me that these symptoms aren’t because of the medication. I’ve had my GP do every test under the moon to see why I’m like this and the only conclusion we have come to is that it’s this medication (these side effects all started around the time I was put on it) . So after telling me I’m wrong he told me that I have no other medication options and to either just go off it (a medication I need for the rest of my life) or just deal with the side effects that apparently to him are not because of this med. I said I’m fearful for my life and have a hard time moving or going outside and I was given nothing but interuptions and a 4 minute phone call where he basically called my situation hopeless. He only cared that my tests looked good and not that this medication might be killing me. I genuinly dont think he’s ever met a transgender patient before or successfully treated anyone with hormonal issues.
